What is the difference between CSIR-JRF and CSIR-SRF?

CSIR-JRF is the Junior Research Fellowship in which Rs. 25,000 (+ 30% HRA (House Rent Allowance) per month is offered by both CSIR as well as UGC for up to 2.0 years. On the other hand CSIR-SRF is Senior Research Fellowship where a stipend of Rs. 28,000 (+ 30% HRA) per month is given by both CSIR and UGC for up to 3 years (2.0 years +1.0 year extension).
